how to mix recording and backing tracks? because during collaborations people post it normal and then with backings.

http://quicktoots.linuxaudio.org/toots/audacity/ http://lwn.net/Articles/202851/ Though I would highly recommend Reaper ( http://reaper.fm/ ) - it's very easy to use, full-featured, pretty quick to learn if you understand even the basics of multi-tracking and there are tutorials available ( for instance : http://www.cockos.com/wiki/index.php/ReaperQuickstart ). And you can use the trial version indefinately. |
