GMC Forum _ Introduce Yourself ! _ Greetings From The Pacific

Posted by: Staples Jan 27 2008, 08:05 AM

I'm not one for introductions. I'm a U.S. Marine stationed in Japan, fun fun. Been playing guitar for a couple of years now, but not really with any intensity until recently. I've been a member of this site for about 3 or 4 weeks and the information I've gained has helped me improve much more drastically than anything yet. I play an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Silverburst, and have a little Crate 65watt.

Aren't I just the most interesting person?

Great choice of guitar by the way, I've got the same one in alpine white and it's an absolute beauty smile.gif

I've never been to Okinawa, but I heard it's beautiful. I wish I could visit there sometime in the future.

The summers are great. From about November to March is kind of depressing though. There are some nice places on the island, although a lot of the castles are in ruins. The nicest places though, not on the island but around. Beautiful scuba/snorkeling site.
