GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ I Don't Know What You To Play On Guitar...

Posted by: Gabriel Leopardi Jul 26 2019, 02:55 PM

Have you ever been on a party or with friends and they ask you to play something on guitar?

What do you play?

Here you have some ideas.... do you play any of these riffs?

Cool vid, I love Beato's channel! I have played almost all of those riffs at some point over the last 35 years or so except for these.
Black Hole Sun
Josie (which is a great tune I don't know why I never learned and I think I will learn it now smile.gif )
Message in a Bottle
Everlong
Hard Days Night
Also I have learned and played most of those songs in their entirety at some point over the years either on my own or in various bands.
Great list.
On a side note, there is an April Wine song titled "I like to Rock" that contains both the "Day Tripper" riff and the "Satisfaction" riff combined with the outro riff of the song. Go to 3:26 of this great tune by April Wine if you would like to hear it. cool.gif

Many on the list I would agree with .To me , he always skips things in the eighties . Crazy train I think is an iconic one , it seems everybody has heard it were as some on his list many people would not know , and that okay he is giving "his" list . Immigrant song is more iconic than Zeppelin he had . As for personal taste "Still of the night " is on of the most iconic metal riffs.
