After weeks of anticipation I got Line6 UX1 with Pod Farm yesterday, and was really bummed out when I realized that it didn't work with Reaper. I was wondering if someone could help me with the work around for it?

http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=249270

So I've got the "Effect Chainer" in my VST's and if I try to load Pod Farm through that, I still have the same problem of no audio output. Could somebody post step by step process of how to load Pod Farm through an effects chain? Or even some more info what an effects chain is and does.

I've been playing the guitar for about almost a year now and, I have never broken a string. It's getting to the point where I'm almost trying to break one. My buddy and I jam together quite a bit and, he is always breaking strings. While I'm happy that I don't ever have to stop and replace strings or worse yet be caught without backups. I'm starting to get a complex.

Should I just start hammering on my guitar harder, or does this mean that my guitar is properly strung and as long as I keep changing the strings every few weeks/months I'll be alright.

This is something I did while I was trying to get better at playing muted notes. I had recorded the rhythm and decided to put another solo track on top of it. I hope you enjoy and feel free to leave any feedback on it.

Hi everybody,
I started keeping a guitar diary a few weeks after I started playing, so I could track my improvments and stick to a solid lesson plan and what not. I thought I would share it with ya'll and see if anyone else does the same. And yes I know it's slow, so any advice on how to speed my playing up would be great, unfortunatly I'm only able to steal an hour a day 3-4 times a week for practice.

Hello, I'm new here and to the guitar. I started playing about 3 months ago when my friend showed up and thrust a guitar into my hands and said we are starting band. That could have been the best idea he ever had! I came to this site in hopes of being able to make better use of my practice time, as I have a family and job, and my bandmate is single and unemployed. Which makes it difficult for us to play, since I'm always lagging in the skills dept.

Any ways I'm playing an Epi Les Paul Jr. through a little 15w Johnson Tube amp. I'm looking forward to learning some new skills and having some fun.

See ya around
