GMC Forum _ Bands and Guitarists _ Good Trio Band Suggestions Please!

Posted by: Iluha Jul 8 2008, 04:22 PM

I just started a band with only me(guitar/bass), another guy(guitar/bass) and a drummer.

So that got me to listening to King's X, and I just fell inlove with them, especially because of their song cigarettes

Can you guys please recommend me similar bands? thanks in advance! smile.gif

Oh before I forget, I do know just two other bands that are similar: Extreme and Cirse tongue.gif

I've talked about these guys alot lately, seems they may have a "guest" drummer or something.....

Cool line up.. but I'm looking more for bands that got just one guitarist and bassist, in this one their playing with two guitars.. and as you said a guest drummer.

King's X rule man, I like your taste.

High On Fire is a band I really love, although they are very different than King's X, they are a very powerful sounding trio. http://youtube.com/watch?v=PyBdiCZLPaA
