Very nice playing!! First part on the low E string sounded really good..I love that song ...
With a little practice you'll be there...Also you may want to keep the left hand thumb behind the neck giving you more stability.. Cheers mate This post has been edited by Bogdan: Mar 4 2008, 06:07 PM -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

The thick E string hammering sounds cool!
I'm no expert (that's why I'm a student ) but soon I'm closing up on 20 years of playing so maybe I can add some good advice. About your right hand - I held my pick that way when I started up and for me that's not very controlled. The distance from the strings up to the knuckles affected the accuracy, for me, flattening the hand and closing the grip gave me a lot more control, and I mean A LOT. Some examples of pick grip (instructos at GMC who have adapted my way of holding the pick) ... ok, just kidding they were way before me and I wish I had started out with a correct grip so I didn't have to lose so many years of lousy playing. Took me two weeks to manage the new technique and after that, was like going from disaster into godlike http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-g...tatonic-groove/ http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-gui...-sweep-picking/ http://www2.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-gui...ernate-workout/ Second thing I think you should start working on a.s.a.p. is alternate picking. Search the video section. If you get that going for you then you can start diverse ways of picking afterwards. Hope that helps at least a little -------------------- My bands homepage
