Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! Great job with the recording and video!! Now we are talking! It sounds and looks very good. Regarding your playing, I think that you are comfortable with the technique to play this one but you still need more time to adjust the timing of each part. There are important timing issue in riffs, legatos and octave chords. I think that the best would be to practice this one a bit more over my playing trying to see in which sections you are off.

Keep on the hard work! wink.gif

Hello mate smile.gif

I agree with Gabriel - try to record the lesson against his recording and then listen and analyze the following aspects:

- timing
- legato
- octaves

Another thing you can do, is to take some time to practice this one slower so that you may be able to follow your playing better and after seeing the differences between your take and Gabi's, you should focus on fixing them wink.gif

Keep rocking and write us if you need further help!

Hi mate,

yeah, Rockin!!!!! biggrin.gif

My advice is:
Try to make your rhythm more precise and groovy. Also adding a few more dynamics, maybe some pinch harmonics and on some longer notes adding a bit of vibrato would be great too.

Remember EVERY NOTE is important, doesn't matter how soft, loud, short or long it is!!!
