GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Classical Guitar - Playing Scales

Posted by: Sentenced Feb 1 2009, 02:10 PM

Hey guys, i look for a lesson on how to play scales on a classical guitar without a pick ofcourse. Or in other words i just dont know how to play the right way if there are several notes on one string, do i have to use just one finger, i dont think so because that is to slow, but whats the best method? Thanks in advance

cheers

Usually, the scales are played with (index-middle) alternate picking, mostly with rest strokes smile.gif

Definitely check out Gerardo's series!! Its as Dejan said , alternate picking (index-middle) combination in order to be fast and efficient at it.

Gerardo and Dejan have some excellent classical guitar lessons.
In terms of scales, Gerardo has couple of lessons where he covers major keys. Check that out and feel free to ask any questions.
