Does anyone currently have one of these amps or have had lots of alone time with one of these amps. I am considering purchasing one but can't decide which one to go with.

What can you tell me about these amps. Strong points and weak points. Thanks!!

If you can afford it, get the Vetta...

Hi there

Out of those two items i would go for the vetta , it has more amp models and recreates the sound better.

Although just my opinion but for the price of the vetta, you might better off going for a tube amp but this depends on your playing situation , such as if your doing gigs or just playing at home.

If you want lots of versatility and your playing at home then you would probley be best going for the vetta.

If your doing fair size gigs then you would be better off with a tube amp.

your best bet would be to compare different amps side by side to see what you like best.

Isn't the Vetta something around $2000, while the Spider 212 is like $500? Even the Spider Valve 2x12 is under $800.

I don't think these amps would compare to the Vetta. Although for that money, you can buy a pretty nice 50W head, a marshal 1937 2x12 cab, and a lot of effects!
