Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

So finally I decided to put this one online, this is the lesson I practiced by far the most, I know I can improve on this but just want to get some feedback. Like the other video from today, sorry for bad light. I think I have to redo this one anyway...

Hi, this was a good take. smile.gif

Again, the guitar wasn't in tune right.. I think the A string was the worst offender there, it sounded too sharp wink.gif

Your timing was good, and you hit all the right notes with your left hand so it's an 8 from me cool.gif

This is very good, very good. Nice changes on the chords. Try to work a bit more on the strumming hand, some strums are a bit "lazy". You should try to do it lightly, but in the same time - swiftly enough so it sounds like your strumming/playing one string, not six. Everything else is OK, needs some polishing up, but it's quite good. Like Ben said, you should tune your guitar better, and always remember to do it before recording anything.

Hi friend!! It's a very good take. The first thing that I noted is that your guitars isn't perfectly tuned. Besides that you played the lesson very good... but maybe you could play it even tighter. Keep on working!! smile.gif

I like this one! Your timing is pretty good! Your guitar is out of tune but you are changing chords pretty fast and good without thinking a lot! Good job!

Hey Carsten! Nice take mate! As my comrades stated - tuning the guitar and trying to stay tight with the groove while playing the piece naturally and with an even flow. That sort of skill comes with time, so take it easy and let it grow wink.gif
