Hi Tom! As we have been talking about your practice and designing your routine via PM and I received your first video playing one of the lessons, I decided to start a thread in which we can have everything together to make the work easier.
Based on your current levels and guitar goals, I suggested this routine for the first weeks: Warming up (10 minutes) Alternate Picking (15 minutes) https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...ernate-Picking/ Rhythm (15 minutes) https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...rumming-Rhythm/ Legato (15 minutes) https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...eginner-Legato/ Vibrato & Bending (15 minutes) https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginn...String-Bending/ https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Bens-Vibrato-Odyssey-5/ Jamming: Learning and applying scales (15 minutes) And this is the video that you send me: It's a good first take to have as a reference to monitor your progress. Technically you are doing the things right, but you still need to get used to the chord changes to make the chords sound clearer and the changes smoother (with less silence between chords). At first the main recommendation now is to start working diary on the routine and share videos here every 3 days if it's possible. About the REC nervous issue, don't worry about it. It's normal and will disappear with practice. The more you record videos the more normal it will feel. -------------------- My lessons
