GMC Forum _ Bands and Guitarists _ Gilmourish, Great "all Things Gilmour" Website

Posted by: Ajmurrell Oct 3 2008, 05:43 PM

I just posted this in another post, but thought some people might not see it so I made a post just about it.

If you have any interest in David Gilmour you must check out this site!

http://www.gilmourish.com

It has indepth looks at his rigs, guitars, set-ups, backingtracks. It even has detailed descriptions of his set-up for every album, talking about which effects he used, what guitar set-up, what amps he used etc.

It's very good, trust me smile.gif

Gilmour is one of my favourite guitarists and one who made me pick up the guitar. I borrowed dozens of BTs from the site... thanks for the share, i thought i would refresh this thread a bit smile.gif

Just want to pop that thread up a bit. I discovered that website today (http://www.gilmourish.com/) and it is really awesome. It has some great explanation on how to create a tone, not only a Gilmour tone. smile.gif

Good link, great finding...

Yes this is a great site indeed... I found that one a while back... The guy has really put a lot of efforts to explain all the effects Gilmour used to use...

His own band 'Airbag' are really worth a listen. There used to be D/L links from the Gilmourish site!
