I have a Samsung Gt-S8500 Wave. I have everything on it that I need. I can even do GMC lessons with it, because it can record vids in HD smile.gif

I use personally sonyericsson w750i I think the model name is.. but as Ivan said: It serves for 3 purposes only: voice calls, SMS and alarm clock smile.gif sometimes I use GPS but that is like twice a year. BTW in my line of work, I kinda use a lot of different phones and HTC is pretty nice (hardware) platform and I like it. Have couple of those in my office like HD2, Hero, Legend, Desire and some new small one don't know the name of it, all really good!

But as with watches: I like it plain and simple. It should be able to show me what time it is - not my heart pulse, blood pressure, GPS, bluetooth, mini calculator (anyone remember those? smile.gif ) etc. I would become really frustrated using only touch-screen for everyday phone usage. But that's just me and my habits.

I'm in the market for a new phone lately. battery on mine is failing lately.

I'd like to get a new one full of stuff like wifi, gps, nice picture/vid cam and apps. I keep hearing about "android" phones but don't really know what that is or if they have any advantages over a nokia 5800 or X6 for instance.

i'd like a phone powerful enough to load web pages in a reasonable amount of time, and also play youtube vids (I know the nokia 5800 can do that), but also pages like GMC (nokia 5800 can't).

I wonder why these phones can load some video pages (like youtube) but not others.

I dont use cell-phones anymore. They are most annoying, always taking away Your attention from what is more important. They are expensive, breaks easy and keeps You busy with stupid SMS's from women You dont want to TALK to anyway. So mine has gone down the drain long time ago!

biggrin.gif Well, there is a certain relation between giving them your number and receiving sms's wink.gif

For myself: I'm a big apple fan, so would have gotten an iPhone a long time ago, if it wasn't for the fact that here in the Netherlands it's T-Mobile exclusively for iPhone (and I don't want a hacked one). So, my phone is the HTC Hero; really like it:
