GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ "my Notes" Tab In Lessons

Hi there,
You can now save your personal notes for a specific lesson by clicking the new "My Notes" tab.
If all goes as planned you will be seeing even more new features/tabs in the lessons pretty soon - and eventually we will get the new player (new player displayed http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/lesson-no-1000/for those who missed it).

Glad you like it! Pasting tab works (even tab with whitespace - as opposed to the forum, this is on our "to do" list though).
Also, most non-English characters should work - in Swedish we have å ä ö characters for example.

They are stored in your account - not cookies. In other words you will be able to access them from anywhere and they won't dissapear if you use another browser or clear your cookies.
However - both "My Bookmarks" and "My notes" dissapear if your account expires (if you cancel the GMC subscription) - this is something I hope to get fixed decently soon though! So that everything is stored even if you should be "away" for a while.

That's a good question - only you can see your notes. To test this you can check out http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/rock-blues-solo-in-Eb-minor/lesson:
Where I wrote " test comment from Kris " - if you can't see it - then it is working as it should!

Wow I love new features , this one is very very useful for keep track of your progress in the lesson , writing down reminders , last bpm you got to and many other things...

Again, thanks for adding new features! It keeps the site alive =)
My only worry now, is that the site actually WILL come alive.. Just stepping right out of the servers and shred the living daylight out of music business so no other guitarists except the instructors can get a job

Cool feature, but you know what would make it even better - A place where you could view/manage the notes on a Global basis(Per your login), such as a place where they would be listed, along with the lesson name they are attached to - that is only if you've entered something for them.

Yes that is a great idea! Hopefully in the future we will be able to have a control panel gathering all the "My" stuff we will have!
