I gotta say I'd love one of these. Then again, I bet most guitar players on planet earth would like one. Sadly, they are only making 1000 of these for the entire world. I'm guessing they will go quickly and then start being "scalped" online @ reverb/ebay. The same sort of thing is happening with the Ibanez RG565 which sold out right away and now I keep seeing them on line $500 more than the list price. It's just wrong, but that's capitalism for ya smile.gif

Anyhoo, this new axe has a "Flip flop" paint job which looks cool in the light. It's probably not to everyone's taste to be honest But I"m guessing at least 1000 people will want one. It's a collab with JOHN MAYER and PRS to re do a 63/64 strat but in a PRS way. That's why the headstock says prs and the body says strat. It's a bit odd when you look at it. Still, I hope to try one.

Whaddya think?

Had a lot of mixed reviews when released but might be one of their best selling model.

The traditional colors to me looks more convincing, the tone seems really good I'd like to try one someday.

They sound great I'm sure but ...
1) I have enough Strats.
2) I hate the PRS style headstock on an S-style axe.

I had the same thought to be honest. Such a great looking strat and the lines are sorta ruined by that head stock. I still am curious and want to play one but i'm not remotely tempted to buy one.
