Of course, there are many things more.
Be careful when buying stuff on street markets,
price is sooo "foggy" matter over there.
Per example, seller offers you an item for 50$,
do some smart talking and you can have it for 5-10$ nonetheless.

Are we going to get an Egyptian sounding lesson when you get back?
Have fun!....Im jealous...
Peace.

Yeah, the Taxis - they are black and white and even more dilapidated than the rest of the cars ... don't mind all the horn blowing, they do it automatically (even when there are no other cars on the road!) - and if you are a nervous passenger, bring a blindfold!!!
Funny thing is, although they drive like lunatics, they always seem to get where they are going in one piece, so in fact they are all master drivers!

Indeed!
And watch out when buying water, NEVER buy it off of the street sellers or in doubtable shops! Always buy it from Hotels and other more legit places, because I heard when I was there that there are actually people who sell unfiltered water and put it on bottle. It may seem legit at first, but beware, you don't wanna catch a nasty stomach infection!
A beware of people selling stuff on the beach. When I was there, some young chap came and sold me a piece of water melon. Then when he had already cut it out and given it to me, he wanted $10 for it!
But yeah, as Muris said, NEVER just pay what they demand, ALWAYS barter.

Man, I wish I knew that before I left because that was exactly what I did; buying water in small shops... and I also got a stomach infection
Well, lesson learned for me!!

don't eat icecream and don't eat salads (there salad is cleaned wit water).
be careful with meat (you'll see why when you see your first butcher shop in Egypt )
I learned the hard way, was very ill for two days...

Ouch, sorry I didn't warn you in time!
Guess we could use an instructor giving lessons on traveling at this site too.
