Although if you get it with the Seymour Duncan PU's that it comes with (Seymour Duncan SH-1nRP '59 Reverse Polarity humbucker at the neck---Seymour Duncan SHPGP-1b Pearly Gates Plus humbucker at the bridge) It sounds Great for Playing Blues and Rock!! You can get Increadible Creamy Sustain (Santana like). You Can Use those Pickups for playing Metal, with a very good distorted Amp. Not to mention with the Pickup Configuration on the Stock pickups... if you put it in the second Pickup position on the Bridge PU, you get a Single Coil sound. Overall I'd give it a 9/10 rating!! and yes for $629 it's a Really good deal. Esp. for the parts.... Basswood Body, two Seymour Duncan Pickups, 24 frets on a Set Maple Fretboard. etc. and the Best part is...
