Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Just finished learning this so I thought I'd post it.

You can see the original lesson here. Hammer On Dude Lesson

I used an Ibanez GRG170DX, into a Line 6 Podxt, into my computer.

I also want to point out that because my guitar doesn't handle tuning down 1/2 a step very well, I play everything a fret down to what Marcus plays, so I can stay in standard tuning. If this is a problem then I'll post a new video tuned down to Eb.

Rhythm placement and cleanness can be better and with more precise control. The rest sounded fine. This lesson has many different ingredients in it. Make sure when you get used to one pattern that you can easily switch to something else without losing any rhythm in these figures.

I agree with Emir here about rhythm placement and cleanness. I would also add that your vibrato is too soft, you should try make it a bit more aggressive and wider perhaps (think more noticed smile.gif.

You need to practice rhythm placement, which is also important part of any solo section smile.gif
