Anybody ever tried this program? I think it's pretty cool to help create a melody line. Don't think it will go as far as counterparts, but useful none the less. Demo is on the home page also.
You can choose what key, then choose the chord progression you want and then add a beat.
You can add bass and piano as well and change tempo. It also has a loop feature.

I'm sure you GP experts out there prefer it better, but this is alot faster. Then you can go back and create in gp to save. Anyway, here it is for those who want to check it out. smile.gif

I was using it earlier!

Quick, simple, functional and not too bad sounding biggrin.gif

Great for a blues jam smile.gif

Though i do like to create my own backings in reaper- this is just waaaaaaay quicker.

I use Band In A Box which is way more advanced, but isn't free, but it is more for creating professional accompanyments if you were performing and such.

This might be cool for jamming late at night -

Yes, quality certainly not the best, but good enough to tell what works and what does'nt. I love how quick you can create something, write it down, and then go and create the real thing. smile.gif I think thats it's strong point.
