Any instructors want to do a tribute to Michael Jackson by posting a lesson on the solo from Beat It?

I think this would be a great way to commemorate his musical achievements.

Michael Jackson will be missed by just about every inhabitant of this planet ! Whatever bad things he did during his life, it can not be compared to all of his achievements and contributions to the entire world !

R.I.P. Michael Jackson ! I was actually in Los Angeles at the time of the unfortunate incident... sad.gif

By the way, what level would the Beat It solo be ? Any approximation anybody can make ? smile.gif

We said some lessons are in plans, but Beat It I think is not, just to make it clear, at least for now, might be possible in near future tho.

Kill-joy ! sad.gif Joking tongue.gif The very simple solo of Smooth Criminal is also very catchy... Anyway, although the solo from Beat It isn't going to be done yet, could you try to estimate its difficulty level ? smile.gif

difficulty levels are hard to say.. what may be a 1000 for me is only a level 1 for muris and all other killer instructors here..

But i do believe that the "Beat It" solo was done by Van Halen, which would lead me to assume a lot of tapping is involved..

I thought Slash from G N' R did Beat it with Michael Jackson. Did Eddie Van Halen do another version of it?
