Fader Options In Reaper, Can't figure it out

What I would like to be able to do is fade a selected track from low to full volume within the mix. I've went into the Transient Auto-Pan and it has a fade time but dont think this is correct for what I'm trying to accomplish. As always, your help is greatly appreciated!
