ive played a variety of their guitars

the SX and Douglas are not Kurt (the owners) brand, only Agile is

the agile guitars are great..he inspects each one himself before they get shipped out...even my luthier has been impressed with them,

they are MIK but assembled in the US at his shop in Ohio

people say their LPs are better than epiphones

I have an Agile LP copy and must say that it blows any Epi I've ever picked up! I'm getting more use to the neck so if your in the market for an LP, I highly suggest you take a look at these before you buy.. smile.gif

I have an "SX" Les Paul copy. Purchased it from Rondo about two years ago. I totally agree it is just as good,(if not better) than the Epiphones. I did replace the pu's, but other than that...it has served me well.

I can't believe that such a small company can manufacture that many different guitars at such low prices. huh.gif I mean a good piece of body wood costs about as much as their guitars. rolleyes.gif

I think some of it has to do with the name on the headstock. Stick "ESP", "Fender", "Epiphone", or "Ibanez" on it, and the price would increase ten times over.

Yes, you get a really decent guitar for so little $$$. I have run accross a couple of problems with them. Myself, and (most) eveyone I read about or speak with, has had to upgrade the pu's and tuners. Easy to do when you are
spending so little for the guitar itself. The customer service is great, and the shipping is very fast. I have owned a strat copy from them as well as a tele, and the LP copy that I play now. You really cannot go wrong with them.

Do you have any experience with the very cheapest of them? The ones about 90-120$? I know someone who desperatly could use a playable guitar, but dont have any money for an Epiphone or Squier right now.

Yes. The strat copy I got from them was:$120.00, and that was for a lefty. The "regular" right handed ones are only:$99.00

Sure, but I think for 100$ you can't even get good raw materials to build a guitar. But maybe I'm wrong wink.gif
