Hey GMC, I have been reading a lot of William Blake and Dante Alighieri (The Divine Comedy/ Dante's Inferno) and was wondering if anyone knew of any other poets or even authors that had a similar style to this kind of stuff. Whether it be old as Dante and Blake or as new as the new priest album, im all game smile.gif

The late great Irish poet William Butler Yates @ his Sailing to Byzantium era (in his 'The Tower'). Also try Christopher Logue's triptych 'War Music', 'Kings' and 'The Husbands' - a moderisation of Homer's Iliad. I think Logue has recently done a modernisation of Beowulf as well.

Cheers,
Tony
