I saw it yesterday. It was pretty good but there was like little kids everywhere so they laughed at the stupid stuff and repeated things from the comerical which was annyoing. When it was funny they didnt get it. What did you guys think of it?

Maybe a little more adult orientated than the TV show. I really liked it.

I hate it how the got divorced and then everyone died. Barney, Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Mr Smithers, they all die in the movie.

i went with 2 friends and at the end he told us to wait but we both had to go to the bathroom

so we missed it but he wont tell us

I reserved tickets 2 weeks ahead of time, saw it the day it came out, AND I LOVED IT!!!

Hilarious Movie, and it actually felt like a Movie, not a long SImpsons Episode!

I personally thought it was dissapointing. I guesse I saw it comming because im not a huge new simpsons fan. Im more old school. The new episodes including this movie, they just made homer retarded. I guese its a way of competing with the fat guy from Family Guy.

Dont get me wrong, the movie did alright for me. I dont mind watching it on a lazy afternoon.A few funny jokes but overall it was nothing more than Simpsons trying way too hard to be funny. If you compare this to some old Simpsons episodes, they dont even try to make things funny it just happens.

But everyone has the right to like the movie, this is only a personal thought.

I agree with that man. Althought i havent seen the movie, i know that old simpsons was funny because it just happened like you said.

Personally, I dont think it seems like Matt Groening is trying to hard to be funny, it still seems natural to me, the new episoded and the movie.
The old stuff is still great though, ive been wathcing the simpson for about a Decade now, i couldnt say which is funnier, new or older simpsons.
