Hi mate! It's a great way to practice scales. It's helpful for training your technique and also for incorporating some improvisation ideas. Here you will find a good lesson with examples based on playing scales in 4ths and 6ths:
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...-scales-part-3/ This is also another way to practice sales, in this case with different patterns: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Sequential-Patterns/ -------------------- My lessons

Hello. I have recieved notation of for example "major scale in fifhts, thirds" "dorian scale in fourths". But no tabs Usually dont use that much, but with notations I got several options to play it and the time it takes working it out... I think i have seen this topic before, so anyone have some exercises with tabs I can start praticing? Cheers I found half of the 'fun' was figuring it out. Just take a scale shape and work away, nice and slowly as sometimes your usual scale fingerings need to change. Check this video and the download -------------------- My SoundCloud
