Very cool topic mate!
I was always addicted to Deftones music. Somehow I felt internal peace while listening and watching the Minerva |

I'm curious to know about music videos that make you feel something special. Happiness. sadness or at least something special. I'll think that this could be very intresting topic. Not just a typical, it's ok or awful song feelings. It's also nice if you can tell some backgrounds, why you feel so about that video. This is my first video with backgrounds. It's from 2005. This one is to sadness category. This was is from one of my favourite bands in nineties, I saw them about 4-5 times on stage. It's Finnish metal band Sentenced. This video is the last song from the last gig. It's also the last song from the last album. They also made this song last. It wasn't by chance that this song was the finale to Sentenced. You can see how hard it's to singer. Very emotional moments. Some other thing which make this more sad, is the fact that lead guitarist Miika Tenkula passed away 2009 and solo in the end is possible his last known recorded guitar solos. Lyrics: Here we are, now lay the burden down We're coming to the end of our road Sorrowful yet glorious somehow To be humming this one last ode So calm and still... it wasn't all that bad, or was it now? Fulfilled... it doesn't only hurt to end it now The funeral The memories beneath the dust of years They seem like those of someone deceased There's no more to be done, or hoped or feared Just waiting for the final release So calm and thrilled... it wasn't all that bad, or was it now? Still, it doesn't only hurt to end it now Is life over, this life's over? Or has it only just begun? It grows colder, starts to moulder... Coming apart yet still not done Forever one This is beautiful stuff mate. I had chills during this video. The lyrics has that mix of sadness and uncertainly but it also gives some space to optimism. That's exactly the overall feeling on Sentenced style, so ending their band with a song like this one is so genuine. This post made my day. -------------------- My lessons
