Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi guys,
I just recorded Lians Slyer Style (Beginner) lesson ( https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...style-beginner/ ). I used my Behringer V-Tone GM108 amp, the UCA222 USB-device to record it via energyXT and my mobile phone for the video. The guitar is an Oakland ZX1200).

nice take man. I gave you 7 'cause I see you learned well the lesson, but there's some things to improve:
first to all, look for a better position for your palm muting: you are getting a undefined sound while you should be getting a dry sound with more attack. (also, check your presets, problem could be there too)
another very important thing is timing: pay attention on it, and try to put every note in its place.
beside this things, I liked your take. well done man!

It's a good take. I think you should spend more time on getting your picking hand a bit more relaxed. It sounds too tensed up, and the timing and tone suffers because of it.

Totaly agree with Lian & Ivan for the comment. Also try to work slowly until you get all the in time and well articulated.
