Original lesson: Beginner's Corner 22: Hammer-On by Bear Rose

Hello ! This is my second take on this lesson. I can ear little timing issues on 16th notes but I wasn't able to fix them at the moment. I hope that the guitar gym made me do some progress on legato. ;-)

Great job mate! This lesson obviously need more work but it's great to see how you progressed comparing this one with the previous take. Now the hammer on done with your picky starts to sound, while is was non audible in the previous one. This means that the fingers training is giving good results. Your timing is also a bit better on this one, so everything is one step forward.

You are going on the right direction with this lesson, and you definitely need to continue with this hard work.

Hey man, this is really good. Playing hammer-ons is difficult on a clean guitar setting because you need to be extra attentive with finger pressure to make the notes sound. However, you handle this very well.

Interestingly, I'd say the main things that could be improved are related to timing. During the section starting at 0:28 I find that you pick the note on the B string and move away from that note too quickly, before hitting the note on the A string. Try to leave your little finger hanging on that B string a bit longer, to reduce the space between that note and the next. Listen to Bear's original and you'll hear there is less separation between those notes.

Nice to see you working hard - it always do profit!
Essentially I have a similar observations as in your take for other lesson (one of latest). I think one additional suggestion might help. Try to take a longer distance for finger before hammering-on. When we play slower parts, notes loose their sustain adn we need to add even more strength to make hammered note sound with even volume. To make ouder note, you need to have more headroom for the motion - pull your finger a bit more before hammering. Hammer on should work like a real hammer - it's not just about to put the finger on the fret (you need to hit it)
