Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi man, this is good stuff. It's nice to see you working on some more rock orientated lead guitar as this will make you get some wide vibrato happening. Not only that, but it makes you be really assertive with your picking.

I like the way you dig the pick in when the phrasing demands it, like the bending, for example.

Tone choice is really nice as well, it flows easily with plenty of sustain.

If you could get the timing of the phrases to flow as easily as the original piece then it would be flawless. Well done!

Hey there!

You both can be proud of your work! You're getting better and better. This take sounds truly PRO!
I like your picking strength, tone and clean execution. Well...to be honest....can't find anything to complain. I hardly find the timing to be a little off...but it's in fact the only little flaw here. Love how you've worked out your vibrato! Well done!
