Maybe.... if they only put it at a descent price. Tiny isn't always cheap. Hope Mesa will prove me wrong and have the new patent called ; hand built quality at made in china price.

Mesa Boogie TransAtlantic, 5/15/25 watt switchable, EL84 tubes. I'm rubbing my hands giggling, hope the price won't be a show stopper. biggrin.gif
hihihi

I had a namm thread opened already but oh well...

I would love to hear that little bugger because a big Mesa sound for home use would be awesome!
As for the Price arround here: Take the ~price of a Blackstar ht-5/Vox nighttrain in the USA.

Double the price

Then add 15%

THAT price, only in Euros, will be the price in Europe mad.gif

I would guess and say that it will cost arroun 500$ in the US and 1000+ Euros arround here!

Lets hope it won't be hand-built price with china quality...... laugh.gif I'm still a little upset with MESA using russian tubes, even that they claim thjat they are throwing away 80%, which I don't believe it's true......

I should change the title to "We can't all be Mesa owners". Price is $899
A little steep don't you think? The new Blackstar HT venue series offres more for the money, from the cheapest 20W head up to the more expensive 60W 2x12 combo and a bunch of models inbetween from $399 up to $699.

I would rather get Blackstar or even Vox head, the Mesa is too much money. Sure it's gotta great features, but 900$ intro price (US probably), this means by the time it reaches Europe, the price will be over 900e. I don't wanna 25W that costs almost 1000e, there is plenty of cool stuff for that money wink.gif

900 Us dollars is way too much for this small machine in my opinion.

Sure it has great features and has it's charm ... But theres LOT'S of cool stuff for 900 Dollars!

Just got it that the 60W 2x12 combo, which is the most expensive in the Venue series, will sell for $899

That's a cool price for a 60W 212 combo from Mesa. I will check up on that amp.

Ive been following him for a while now, have had a few lessons with him and been to his clinics, very cool guy. A few of us off his forum actually met up yesterday (Saturday) for a jam in Liverpool, unfortunately I was the only person who could work the camera so the only footage useable is the stuff I shot!
good laugh though! laugh.gif
