My friend, there are really a lot of good lessons out here smile.gif
What this site mostly does is, steaming you ready, so you can learn the songs on your own. The lessons covers almost all kinds of styles and techiques, so you have the possibility to learn everything you need to know.

And if you think that there is anything missing, you can always make a lesson request biggrin.gif
If you want good metal lessons btw way, try the ones of lain gerbino. The reallyl cool rock tunes come from Gabriel leopardi. Try rockers riff 2, that 1 is awesom!

cheers!

The search engine is a good place to start. Type anything you want (related to guitar) and I'm pretty sure you'll find something you like. There is a lot of Metal and song from Metallica, Megadeath and Pantera. Just type any of thos name and you'll find them.

I"ve found wads of lessons on learning cool Metal Songs but you can do that with tablature and and a copy of the song. If you really want to grow as a player, it's really important to start actually writing music and improvising/writing solos. This is something takes years to master, playing what someone else already wrote is a good way to mimic techniques, but writing material and creating solos is what will force you grow in ways you didn't expect. So learn some spiff tunes of course, but start putting time in to making material as soon as possible if you can.

Todd

very direct yet good feedback. It's a valid request if that's what you are looking for right now. As Todd pointed out, learning other people's solos and riffs is great (that's how I learned) but eventually ideally you want to start using what you learned in your stuff,

anyways, you want more metal material from what I see and in a more advanced level.

I agree. Now that you've "discovered" GMC, it's up to you really to organize your time and set your goals and just do it. I guess first question is, what is it that you really want to play? be very specific

I have the opposite problem. Too many lessons I want to master which makes it hard to pick one and then they throw up another awesome one to distract me. I guess if you love metal you might be hurting (although there is plenty here) but that stuff is all over the net for free. And personally I prefer the in the style of lessons because I don't have time (and I'm lazy) to figure out the fingerings without tabs which are not included in the covers for obvious reasons. Good feedback though.
