Let's start from drop D - can you see all your low D string power chords in an easy way?

When you say low D chords do you mean something like this? In Dropped d tunning Striking all the bottom three low strings (D,A,D) open would be to play a D5 chord. Barring across these same strings in the second fret would play a E5, Same fretting shape at the third fret would be an F5 chord?

Spot on It is very important to see the disposition of the notes on the neck in respect to the lowered string - it's all a matter of re-orienting interval shapes actually Glad you like the Pillar style lesson! I would strongly advise you to work on it as slowly as possible at first, due to the fact that it needs a very exact approach in almost all its length. Better to play it at 50% of the speed and be dead on with every note, rather than play it at 100% and sound sloppy!

Do you have or know of an exercise to learn the pentatonic scale and diatonic natural minor scale in all positions? This would be really helpful to improve my visualisation and practical application of D tunning when writing music.

Hehe, great man! About the positions, I would strongly advise you to look at the neck and spot all your root notes for a certain scale and then try to go through the particular scale you are learning, by using 16th notes, 8th notes, triplets or even groups of 5,6 or 7 notes. Place the root on each string and play 2 notes per string, 3 notes per string or even 4 notes per string if your fingers allow it. Don't learn patterns by heart Instead understand where the notes on the neck are and how you can discover your OWN patterns It would be easy to slap a few patterns for the pentatonic or natural minor scale and say 'learn these', but I want YOU to build your own They will stick to your head a lot better. Can you build let's say 5 patterns for the A minor pentatonic and the A natural minor scale? Shoot a video and show me what you found
