Im not sure why, but here is an upload!

I haven't practice in like 3 weeks so don't be to mean! biggrin.gif tongue.gif laugh.gif

I also haven't worked on the tabs for this song but I love it and found the backing tack.

I'm just using my ear and trying to find a good tone..

I would really like your comments on the TONE but feel free to shred on what you think will help me. smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Very nice, both the way you play and your tone are very relaxing. laugh.gif I don't know why, I just got that feeling from it.

I only heard a couple things. The very first part of the melody goes B D D B, not B D D E, and there were a couple other places where it wasn't quite the same, too. These might have been intentional though, and nothing there's wrong with changing it up. The beginning just sort of stuck out to me. The legato section could use just a little more practice, too.

Other than that, fantastic job, and a good tone, too! You did a great job of capturing Satch's vibe in your playing. cool.gif

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. This has been very helpful.
You can play the coolest licks in the world but if you don't have a good voice to speak in (guitar / recording tone) people won't listen or give it a chance. I have been fighting with this for months and I beleive I'm starting to make a break through finally.
