Hey guys,
Within the month i will turn 17 and my parents want to give me an semi-acoustic guitar, cause they want to hear the acoustic sound a bit more then they do now so i went looking for a good one and found this one
http://www.fender.com/products//search.php?partno=0967400306
does any of you guys know how it's like, and if it's a good idea to buy it

As Ian said, a semi-acoustic combines electric and acoustic and that's why (I think) it's not the best choice if you want a "proper" acoustic sound. What I know about semi-acoustic is that it's basically and electric guitar but also the vibrating air inside gives it a more smoother, natural colour. You can use it for jazz, blues etc.
I would consider buying an acoustic with some electronics built-in!
But this Fender surely rocks anyway
Thanks for info guys,
I think i'm going to try this guitar and some other normal acoustics coming saturday (guitarshop just 50 metres from my house, got to love that ) and see what I prefer..
Thanks again guys

That fender looks great but I'm with everybody here , go for a acoustic guitar (that's got a option to plug in)...That way you'll get best acoustic sound and you got a electric one for other type of gigs...
This Fender rocks, but I would also recommend buying regular acoustic guitar with good preamp built in. Try Martin or Fender acoustic guitars mate.
well gonna go and check some guitars this saturday and try them, and then i'll see/ hear what i like.. probably gonna go for the acoustic
thanks guys
Timon
