yea, I cant get into this kind of thing at all, I love the backings and the guitar work etc, then just instantly turn it off when the vocals(?) kick in

his vocal style fits the music perfectly. ive known about these guys for a while, their pretty good, really.
the vocalist obviously knows that Crappy A7x and BFMV style emo vocals don't belong in music this heavy. sorry kiddies. ph34r.gif

I almost replied to that to that post, but I don't want to go into forum troll mode.

Anyway. The name also puts me off, it has a certain lack of taste. imo.

thats very true, all i meant was, this is a hardcore punk band, so they wouldn't get very far with a weak vocalist.

I would say that the amount of screaming in music isnt a necessarily a measurement of how heavy it is wink.gif

I agree, some of the heaviest stuff I´ve ever heard came from classically trained singers. That was Wagner.

If we´re talking metal, check out Black Label Society, very heavy (and just plain awesome) and no screaming.

I think they're pretty good, even though I don't like the whole scream thing in general, this is pretty good.

It's not too bad, to be honest. I think the vocals fit the music better than some emo-singer would do. I wouldn't buy their music, but if ever they were doing a gig in my town I wouldn't mind seeing them and getting drunk! biggrin.gif
