I'm no expert but you already have a Les Paul, and that custom had the headstock damaged... I'd go PRS. Just my 2 cents.

Did you play both guitars? If you did, which one felt better, sounded better, looked better? Thats the one that you should buy. If I had the choice I would for sure pick the Les Paul, I am just addicted to them And about the neck damage, if it was fixed properly this is no problem at all, one of my Customs also had a broken neck, it was fixed and I am still using this guitar without any problems.

Well, it is definitely best to see what guitar suits you better, both playabillity and sound wise. I would give a slight advantage to PRS, because it is not been damaged, but that's IMO.

This is the modern "Sophies Choice"
I'd go for the Les Paul, but I'm a sucker for those.. But then again, I can't say I know much about PRS guitars.. In the end it's all a matter of opinion, I guess.. -------------------- GMC is not just a website... It's a lifestyle!

I think PRS is really a safe bet...Also that Gibson can be cool too (don't like the damage story though)...But all guitars sound different so if you can , try them out to hear for yourself...
