Hi guys.

I am really having a hard time comming up with some nice jam riffs. At my school, me and my friend always goes to play music in our breaks, but I don't know what to play then? He is a really skilled drummer, so it is kind of freaking me out that I don't know what to play.

We usually play blues, funk, rock and some heavy.

Do you guys have any good suggestions of what I could play and what would turn out to be a good jam?

Any rock/blues rhythm lessons here at GMC will do a good job for that.
Here are some examples :

It's good to make short list at home, of your favorite riffs, or your own short melodies and then to try to play it over drums.
