Best bang/buck? Probably a GIO. Very cheap and already pretty good. But if you are talking about the JEM etc. I think that's simply not your price segment. So you should mention the amount of buck if you want to get a useful answer.

I think RG got some models that are really cool and "cheap".
But you could try a JS model, they are not so far away (money talking). -------------------- |

Definitely try out the JEM-models from Ibanez. They should fit in your price range (atleast used ones will, maybe even some of the new ones)

You should really try out some Ibanez models at some guitar store. Personally, I'm weak for the RG neck... It just slided into my hands perfectly! It's the only Ibanez I've tried though, so I can't know for sure if the rest of them have the same deal

If you want an ibanez, that's best for your money, id go for the RG1570
|
