Hey! Thanks! Is it possible for me to get that B locrian backing track you used in the chat? That was quite new for me and I would love to get better at that sound, and, would it be important to have video, or just audio from my improvs? So I can adjust my setup a bit;)

Hey Jesse! It is very important smile.gif it will allow me to see exactly what you need to work on mate, aside from what you would like to work on.

The track is not mine so, I think that it's not ok to post it here, but, I will try and make one up this evening with the same chord progression and groove wink.gif

do we have a deal?

Yo Cos! It's finally vacation so ive got some serious time to work on stuff. But I am having serious problems trying to play over this backing, it might be the rythem/chords combination that's throwing off... I cant get a groove going..

Hey man! smile.gif Long time no see biggrin.gif so, tell me, what exactly do you feel like is not allowing you to play? Is it maybe that you don't know the chord progression?

Could be, I used to know the progression, but I try and solo over it using the B Locrian scale, and I just can't seem to be able to play anything that sounds right with the groove

Try to feel the pulse man smile.gif don't play the guitar at first wink.gif try to feel the pulse and then sing some melodies trying to emphasize the characteristic scale degrees of the mode. See where this takes you and let's discuss over the results of this new approach smile.gif
