Original lesson: Beginner's Corner 13: C Major Scale by Bear Rose

Hi, my entry level in the world of lead guitar. Please note, my main recording gear was not working, used a back up plan, and in the rec the guitar signal is in one channel only and it is dry, sorry about that. Thanks in advance Carmine

I hope anyone with POD HD 500 experience can help me.

To record video for the REC zone (so just to show to the instructors, nothing so professional) I created a patch on the POD with 2 path. The first with Guitar as Input source with the modelled amp/effects, the second is without amp/effect with AUX as Input source. The aux is my pc where I get the backing track I need to use to record the lesson. I use POD HD Edit to balance the sounds using the Levels on the mix. The video recording software pick the sound from the POD and all was working well.

All of sudden in the recorded video (so not the sound I can monitor through headphone) the Backing track has a very high level while the guitar is very low or even inaudible.

Any idea what went wrong?
Thanks in advance

Hi Cosmin
I had a look at BC13.
There a few vibrato on the high e string. Now, my vibrato is weak, and Ben Vibrato Odyssey no 5 is in my bookmark. In the meantime do you have any suggestions regarding this specific issue?
Thanks in advance

So a new update for S Gear with a new amp and better cabs simulation. I tested and it is lovely. Actually better than that is a fantastic piece of software, and I think is the best thing you could use if you, like me, play guitar using headphones. However I am really tired of having several amps available at once with endless settings and patches with funny and strange name. It is so nice to have just an amp, few knobs to twist and that's it. What do you think?

Cosmin
regarding the BC no 2. There was this comment on the Feedback box of the lesson: "...with the rhythm without additional information, therefor i think this lesson is still to difficult for a real beginner. You have to break it down more when it comes to apply the rhythm"

I completely agree with this sentence. Anyway the breakdown video is different form the main video due to the speed. I think the muted strum can be added according to taste more than according to the video, what do you think?

Thanks in advance. Take care,
Carmine
