GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Really Interesting Keyboard

Saw this today on Youtube, thought I'd share it here, what they are saying about it really reminds me of some of the things we do on a guitar already, but I would love to have one of these to experiment with! smile.gif

Interesting! Keyboard solos in some metal songs sound very close to a guitar, so this can make it even closer... however I don't think that it is so cool to try to imitate a guitar with keyboard in solos, I think that it would be better to add different colours and ideas to a song.

Wow! this is pretty slick for sure. Thanks Strat! I would love to see what Stevie Wonder would do with this instrument. cool.gif I found a couple more videos that perhaps better demonstrates its potential.

Wow, those were really cool videos, thanks for sharing! I think this is a awesome concept, but I bet it would take some getting used to, playing music on squishy keys! smile.gif

Kool stuff!! I recently used a KAOS KAOSILLATOR and the KAOSILLATOR app for ipad in that techno track I shared recently. I really think it's spiff how much technology is available for musicians these days smile.gif I think I liked the ipad app better than the hardware Kasollitor though. Not a big suprise there smile.gif More and more the asnwer is "Do it in softwawre" . The ipad itself is still a hardware platform, like the kaosillator handheld. It's just flexible. For ANDROID fans, there are TONS of new tablets coming out and wads of new Music apps just for Android so it will probably find it's way in to your studio smile.gif

Not to mention the app is a fraction of the price of the hardware version of kaosillator smile.gif
