I'm so pissed!!
More than a week ago my internet service provider made a huge data base mistake and they decreased my band width by half... I've been phoning them and visiting their office almost every day to get this solved, but at least I had a connection until now...
Yesterday after they tried something new to restore my normal bandwidth they actually screw things so bad that now I have no connection at all!
Man, I'm so pissed... right now I'm posting from a friends computer...
I can't practice my GMC lessons, read the forums etc... This is so annoying. I will have to call them again this afternoon and see if they can do something, worst thing is each call I make is pretty expensive.
8 days since they screwed my connection, this is beginning to feel like a nightmare
ISP's suck. I hope you give them a slap soon. Threaten to change ISPs if they don't sort it and miraculously it works within seconds
really bad news,sorry to hear a bout it,it is the worst feeling,and you cant do any thing a bout it.
Sorry about your troubles , I understand situation happened to me a lot of times before And just few years back we only had dial up connections
I'm still screwed....
Phoned them again yesterday, and they say they are working on it, but still no solution... I even told them that it was my last call, and I would leave if they don't solve it asap...
At least I'm spending this weekend at my girlfriends' so I will have connection there!
THat's so uncool man, can you like switch ISP's?
It's not Telefonica by any chance Fran?
I'd switch - assuming that there aren't any penalties/lock in clauses. Lots of ISPs around so lots of competition - you'd think your ISP would be fighting to keep you rather then driving you to leave .

Just wanted to make a small update to this little episode I'm going through: after two weeks they STILL haven't fixed my connection...
Summer is aproaching and I will move to my girlfriends' for two months (her connection does work!), so I will more than probably leave my ISP, and hopefully they can solve this when I re-connect in two months time, though I think I might as well choose a different ISP next time around...
They have given me 6 months with 50% off already, but the fact that they still haven't even sent a tech guy with a new cable modem to my house shows how dumb these people are... I have already told them my MAC number 5 times to 5 different people because they had it wrong again and again!
At least the connection works, at just 20 KBps, when it's supposed to be 6Mb... go figure!, at least I can surf the boards and stuff, but it takes ages for gmc videos & youtube stuff to load.
Oh well. Enough ranting!, at least I can post :/
