I have been playing guitar for almost 3 years and have allowed music to become my serious hobby and dream. I am greatly influenced by all the usuals, Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, the list goes on. I am also inspired by these guitarists commitment when they were my age (Vai played 9-15 hours a day when he was a teenager ). I hope to someday be a working guitarist in any way, maybe even an instructor on GMC (some day ). I have known about this website, but only recently joined. I love it becuase it allows both beginners and advanced players an opportunity to advance their skill, with easy to use lessons.
