Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Well played! You have a cool smooth tone, and nice picking technique! I suggest a bit more work on those bends and vibratos, as they are sounding weak.

Overall a good take Brandon, I quite like your tone here even though you weren't happy with it. I guess it's the nice Strat tone doing that.. wink.gif

I agree with Ivan.. your vibrato could be stronger. The timing was a little different to the original lesson as in some places you played the phrases with more of a triplet feel rather than 4/4 8th notes.. but that's only a minor thing as your technique overall was very clean. smile.gif

Not a bad tone for me, at least for REC purposes. As others said, you need to work on your vibrato to make it stronger. Keep also attention over intonation, as example around 0:38 for a short time your bend sounds a little sharp. Don't know if you have done it with intention. Good take, overall!
