Hey guys,
I just connected for the first time and I thought it is a good time to introduce myself.
Well I'm some kind of ethernal beginner, I started playing when I was sixteen, about 24 years ago. I worked a lot in the early years, but then I got lazy (Army, job, Wife, kids, that is...). So I feel like I'm not really better than years ago. I was was with heavy metal, but now that I'm lazy I'm more into rock, blues, even though I enjoy some punk and garage too with my band.

When I was a kid, I was found of guys like malsteem or the satch. My guitar teacher kept telling me, "ok, you got technic, you got speed, how about doing some music for once?" I'm playing more bluesy and more slowly now, may be I'm getting closer to doing music. But I feel the journey is only beginning!

cheers
Brunal

There's plenty of tasty blues stuff on here.. if you use the search bar at the top right corner you can search these instructor's names: Piotr Kaczor, Ivan Milenkovic & Lazslo Boross.. they have some really melodic lessons which you might want to learn ! smile.gif

Also, us instructors do live video chats.. there is a schedule at the bottom right of the main page with the days and times.. you can enter the chat room anytime by just clicking on the big 'CHAT' button at the top smile.gif

Welcome to GMC Brunal! I love to play Blues and can testify that there are some AWESOME lessons here on GMC devoted to Blues. Check out some of the lessons that Ivan has done on the blues, they are great! Also, many of the lessons done by Denes and Mate Nagy have great blues style playing in them as well. I particularly like Denes's Blues Vibrato SRV style lessons and Mate's Whitesnake Blues Solo lesson, as well as Ivan's B.B. King Style 8 Bar Blues lesson. biggrin.gif

Welcome mate!

As Ben said, you are welcome to join us in the video chat sessions and in general, ask any question whose answer would help you progress smile.gif

I'm on in the video chat on Thursday at 18.30! I will be talking about how we can become more musically diverse through re-orchestration smile.gif See you then if you have the time smile.gif
