Maybe buy toneport GX, it is cheap something like 70 euro. It works great for me.

If you wanna use it for home practice and recording on your computer then perhaps it is better to get a Toneport. Check out my review here. I know Ivan! But I want to be able to play without plugging it in the pc. Since you need to have the toneport connected to the pc to hear yourself play and to use the effects.-------------------- Don't just play it. Feel it!

If you dont want to waste much money i would suggest the toneport GX.....
its very cheap and you can get alot of great sound with plus you can record witha good sound........ -------------------- My Gear

Matt32 is right, you actually don't need any patches from the web. You will make your own patches 95% of the time.

Pod II/Pocketpod (both use pod 2 custom tones) sound nice trough headphones. Problem with patches is that they might sound different depending on the guitar you use, so don't expect them to be extreamly good, as already mentioned you'll probably have to tweak them a bit.
