Does your amp have one Master Volume knob and one knob for the Overdrive channel? If so, turn up that one, if it isn't that one you've been turning up all the time then tongue.gif

Tried plugging it into something else, like your mates equipment?

Try using a battery - who knows ?

well, I also have a problem with effects when going from distortion to clean, but that's just in the effect loop.
I'm not sure if this is an error with the amp itself.

However, if it's guitar to pedal->amp, channel shouldn't matter.

PLug in the guitar with the pedal ONLY in the effect chain. If the problem persist then return it, if not, it's the other gear, or power issues.
