Trivium Style, Lesson By Gabriel Leopardi |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi mate! Great to see you working on this lesson!
There are many strong points here, and just a few details to fix in order to make this one sound flawless. The intro riff is played correctly with only down strokes and palm muting. The problem is that you are not playing the riff tight, I notice timing issues. You tend to rush a bit tempo. I think that your right hand is not moving naturally with the tune's groove. Even when using only downstrokes, there must be an up and down motion that helps to keep the groove flowing. The following part also needs some timing adjustment. (The open string patterns starting at 00:28). From 00:40 to the end, I don't notice important issues. It's sounding good! Keep on rocking!! -------------------- My lessons
