I love the community here as well as the lessons.
They say to be successful to surround yourself with positive like-minded people. I think this place does that (I also have a forum for weight training for the same thing)
Whilst we talk about bands and gear the focus is so much about learning, practicing and progression. It really keeps your goals at the forefront of your mind.

I'm on Hendrix meets sayce by denes nagy and skate punk by Gabriel. I really like the Hendrix meets sayce. Some awesome blues licks in that tune and the skate punk isn't the typical punk rock it's more melodic I'm really into music like that. I'm ready to post Hendrix meets sayce to the rec. maybe tomorrow if I have time.

Even when I first joined it was impossible to keep up with the material being delivered faster than you'd learn it

its goin good ive only gone through it a few times, few sight reads at slow tempo with guitar pro. thats how i learn most of the music i play i play slow till i can memorize it then after its memorized i work on the technique used in the tune. ultimatly i want to be able to write music like the skate punk tune, and rockin blues.
