Since the judges (myself and with a little help from my daughters rabbit) have scrutinized the pics really close in order to find some fake Photoshop tricks or similar with a magnifying glass and endless cups of colombian coffee, this final judgement had take some time. And it was not an easy decision either........

Many of You had excellent worned down fingers, that only can be acchieved here at GMC, which will also make us outstanding amongst other guitar players!!! To those who didn't won a prize this time, I can comfort them that the competition is probably coming up again next christmas.

So whats the prizes??? There has been speculations about giving away some Fender-guitars here, which I really was a litlle tempted to after receiving the Suhr-strat, but we'll see next time.....

So the winners reallay are:

1:st prize: 6 Months subscription at GMC (so You can hurt Your fingers even more..... )
HAMMERHEAD
With the following motivation:
"An outstanding combination of spurs and missing skin as well as a swollen ring finger which will make it impossible to remove the ring without a chainsaw. My rabbit also adds that he really liked the dirt!"

2:nd Prize: 3 V-picks from the glowin serie (PM me Your adress, and I have it sent to You, also which one's You like)

Motivation:
"Although there was'nt any heavy heavy spurs, a lot of skin was lacking and definitely shows some serious attempts to damage, the second prize was supposed to be barb-wire but it got out of stock at my local dealer. My rabbit adds that he ate the finger that is missing in the pic..."

We have no third prize this time since my rabbit ate my credit-card as well as an after dinner to Mirko's finger, so I can't afford any more prizes.....

Of course we will have a look on the lucky winners fingers again:

AAAaaaaaaaa HHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh! Yeah Baby! Staffy you ROCK! I really worked my fingers hard, and they have only now begun to forgive me I promise to make them hate me even more for the next 6 months!

Yeah, thats the prize You have yo pay to stay on top/beeing a guitar player.......
Mine has got a little better since I started to play some other guitars, before I was just playing the Strat
with 0.12-strings and that hurted me BAD.....

Btw. I still open doors with my left hand in order to not damage the nails on my right hand....
(a behaviour I have since I was 15 and played classical guitar, but I haven't played it since and now its
30 years ago.... )

Congratulations guys!
If I'm not mistaken, I am at 6th (and last...) rank in this competition. Do I also get a prize? :-)
I told my girlfriend about this thread and she kept insisting that I use moisturizing soap and hand lotion in order to keep my hands and fingers in good shape...
Girlfriend: "Remember, women look at a man's hands first!"
I: "Isn't that just a cliché from the magazines?"
Girlfriend: "Yes, we look at the butt first, but hands are important as well!"

I think your girlfriend is suggesting ... well if women look at men's butts first... then is that where we should put the lotion? Definitely no lotion in the next competition... Barb-wire and handling cactus!!! This is one tough competition!!

of course if you want to catch a girl... well then grab plenty of lotion!

STOP! Wait a minute here! We are MEN (x-cuse me rokchik), we are supposed to use gasoline as lotion, fart in bed and treat our women like pigs..... So my suggestion here is that Guitarrero gets himself a new girlfriend instead - if we shall begin with lotion we might end up as a more female version of Pet Shop Boy's! (if that's possible???)
